# Tight Partnership Overview and Integration Guide ## Introduction Tight provides small businesses with tools to manage finances through expense tracking, invoicing, accounting, financial reporting, and tax features. Through Unit's partnership with Tight, you can seamlessly integrate Tight’s white-label capabilities to enrich your customer experience by pulling account and transaction activity from accounts on Unit. ## Available Features 1. **Expense Tracking**: Categorize expenses by business and tax categories, supporting Sole Proprietorships, LLCs, LLPs, and S Corporations. 2. **Invoicing**: Create, customize, schedule, and send invoices with integrations to payment processors. Transactions deposited into Unit automatically reconcile with related invoices. 3. **Accounting**: Double-entry accounting is handled automatically with transactions posted on an accrual basis to a General Ledger. 4. **Financial Reporting**: Generate comprehensive financial reports including Profit & Loss, Income by Business/Client, Expenses by Business/Client/Category, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Trial Balance formats (HTML/PDF/XLS). 5. **Taxes**: Produce income tax estimates and documents such as Schedule C, Form 1065, and Form 1120-S, tailored to various business types. ## Implementation ### Technical Integration 1. Coordinate with your Unit Customer Success Manager to authorize Tight’s access via Unit’s partner token feature and arrange configuration in Sandbox and Production environments. 2. Register your user at Tight following their user creation documentation. 3. Link your Unit customerId with the Tight user to enable data flow. Post-setup, you can connect to Tight’s APIs or integrate their white-label SDKs. Tight also supports pulling activity from non-Unit accounts through their Plaid integration. ### Agreements - Tight will supply privacy policy language to include in your documentation. - Contractual relationships are direct with Tight, leveraging special rates for Unit customers.
